Smart Beginnings Greater Roanoke
To supplement staff capacity, we had a team of data experts and analysts working together on the project.
From Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute (VTCRI) and the City of Roanoke Office of the Chief Scientists
Dr. Craig T. Ramey and Dr. Sharon L. Ramey, who were providing the primary guidance to the project. Dr. Maria Stack Hankey, their associate, is now the Smart Beginnings Greater Roanoke Data Committee Chair, and has been working with Drs. Crowell and Friedman (see below) on the data clean-up, matching, and analyses.
